As a DJ for the last twenty years and a producer for the last fifteen, Mark is well placed to advise DJ's on why they need to learn the art of production. It's a subject close to Mark's heart, so if you're DJ and you been wondering just why a sequencer and a bunch of VST Instruments are so relevant to today’s DJ's - then you need to come along to this!
Monday October 3rd - TIME TBC - 'Mark EG and DAVE The Drummer Teach Techno' @ The Learning Zone
Whether you're into techno music, a struggling producer or just starting out in any style, you will not want to miss out on this. Mark of course runs his own techno label Blackout Audio and has released countless tracks under the name The Anxious. DAVE The Drummer runs his own Hydraulix label and has produced and engineered more tracks than you could ever imagine possible - he's been responsible not only for classics such as 'One Night In Hackney' but the majority of the 'acid techno' sound, which has been around since the 90's. Both artists have been heavily featured on the playlists of other top DJ's such as Dave Clarke, Sven Vath and Richie Hawtin.
